Welcome to Luverne Hockey and thank you for your  interest in having your child join our fun and exciting Luverne  Hockey family.   Through our program your child will learn the fast paced, exciting game of hockey.

We offer programs for boys and girls at all ages and the Blue Mound Figure Skaters (BMFS) offer a Learn to Skate program.  The Learn to Skate program is a great way for your child to learn the fundamentals of skating.  This is INCLUDED FREE in your registration if you are mite (about 9 years old) level or younger.  If you are older and want to participate in Learn to Skate, you sure can, it just requires a fee.

There are many things involved when joining Luverne hockey besides having your child play on a team.  Each family is required to work volunteer hours, do some fundraising, as well as participate in the cash raffle.  By participating in these we can keep our registration costs down.  Some associations have to pay over $1000 just for a registration fee where in Luverne we range from $110-$425.

The good news, a new family DOES NOT have to work the volunteer hours or do the fundraising the first year.  This will allow you to get familiar with the ice arena, the practices, and schedules.  You will also get a sense of what a day at the arena looks like.  What we do ask from your first year is that you participate in the cash raffle.  This entails selling 8 cash raffle tickets.  There are 1200 sold and names are drawn for cash prizes just about every day of the year.  This is a big fundraiser for us that helps pay for the expansion of the facility.  Any extra questions about this feel free to contact me.

Through our program and practice/game schedule, I think you will find Luverne has great resources to make your child the player they want to be.  Any questions, feel free to reach out to me for answers to any questions you may have.
